Holly & Paul asked us to be their Arches Dean Clough wedding photographer and we kicked off with their ace engagement shoot. Their such a fun, up-for-anything couple, so we were naturally geared up for their wedding at The Arches in Halifax!
Holly was a little bit late to the wedding at St. Patrick's in Huddersfield but as the brass band played, they were cheered on by all their friends and family to showers of confetti. As everyone made their way to Dean Clough, we made a quick stop in the park in the golden winter sun. It may have been chilly but if their engagement shoot was anything to go by in the rain, we knew Holly & Paul would be up for it and they absolutely brought their A game for some gorgeous portraits together.
A quick hop in the camper van to The Arches, Dean Clough, styled fabulously as always by Tabby at Mode For with just a little bit of festive cheer and plenty of festoon lights. We made time for a few fun group photos after dark before meal and speeches time rolled around. In our 9 years, it was a first for us when Paul's best man wrote and sang a song for Paul as part of his speech. We had 'Goodbye my Lancashire lad' in our heads for days. It was also replete with red and white rose props!
As the formalities wound down, Paul's own band kicked off the evening with Paul throwing shapes rather than up there playing. What an amazing day with amazing people in an amazing venue!
