Who doesn't love a military wedding!? There's smart and then there's smart, and boy did Matt look smart...almost as good as Clare! Matt & Clare's Wharfedale Grange wedding in February, one of our favourite luxury wedding barn venues in Yorkshire,  was beamed down upon by unseasonably good weather and good times. As Matt and co. readied their uniforms, Clare got ready in the secret dressing gallery at Wharfedale Grange. Taking things exceptionally easily, it was a nice relaxed morning before heading downstairs to get married in the North Barn. A surprise for Clare, when asked if anyone had any objection to their marriage, all the boys stood to draw their swords... luckily, it still went ahead!! After their first smooch they exited to a guard of honour and showers of confetti for drinks on the terrace. We kept the family photos bright and breezy before spending a few minutes getting some portraits of Matt and Clare. We love a couple who don't take things too seriously and can just enjoy having a little break and pretending to laugh at our bad jokes! The laughs and fun really shine through in their wedding photos. The afternoon rolled into evening with touching speeches, amazing food by The Hog & Apple before cutting the cake. And of course, it had to be done as ceremoniously as possible using Matt's sword! Friends and family gathered round for the first dance before the night got into full swing on the dance floor.
