Back for the second time this year at a venue close to our hearts, Sophie & James' East Keswick wedding at the village hall was an absolute stunner! Sophie got ready at her parents house on the outskirts of Leeds with her bridesmaids. Shout out to past bride Emily doing maid of honour duties today! And Sophie got into her first wedding dress of the day ready to go meet James for their legal ceremony at York Register Office. Just for immediate family and a handful of friends, the legal ceremony freed them up to do their big ceremony in front of everyone just the way they wanted to.
After a quick change again, the two met up for their outdoor ceremony at East Keswick Village Hall. Sophie's dad accompanied her down the aisle before conducting the ceremony himself under the watchful eyes of the cows in the adjoining field. The speeches followed a very chilled out drinks reception and a stunning meal prepared by James' dad.
As we reached the golden hour we saw our opportunity for a very special window for portraits where the light was just perfect. We made our way to the meadow and it couldn't have been better. The afternoon rolled into evening as guests ate ice cream, played lawn games and snoozed in the sun. The epitome of a relaxed wedding. The night was kicked off by one of our favourite wedding bands, The Kickstarts who absolutely know how to bring the party!
If you missed Frances & James' wedding at East Keswick Village Hall earlier in the year, definitely check it out for more inspiration! And final shout out to James David Murphy who provided all the amazing wedding signage too.
