We blogged Samantha & Adrian's stunning wedding at Elms Farm Cottages in Boston, Lincolnshire yesterday (click here!). But today, we have something extra special. Samantha & Adrian were the first couple who really pushed us into shooting an entire day on film. We've always wanted to do this as film has such a unique aesthetic that we'd love more people to enjoy and Samantha & Adrian's art and design backgrounds meant they thought exactly the same. We shot the entire day on our Rolleiflex 3,5F from 1959 on a mixture of Fuji 400H and Kodak Tri-X 400 rated at 800 and 1600 for the low morning and evening light respectively.

So many photographers attempt to emulate a film look in their digital photographs but nothing comes even close to simply shooting it on film, add to that these photos hold over twice the resolution and quality of even the best professional and digital cameras, the possibilities are endless.
