We couldn't believe how lucky we got with the weather when Sarah & Mark asked us to be their Saltmarshe Hall wedding photographer. On a super hot mid-summer day, they held their intimate outdoor wedding with guests coming from all over the world to gather for their big day.
Opting for an outdoor ceremony in the gardens. Guests gathered in the shade enjoying the string quartet playing whilst we waited for Sarah to make her way down the aisle with her mum and brother in law. It was a lovely entrance and a meaningful one to have mum be able to make the entrance with the bride. Having conducted the legal ceremony indoors, Sarah and Mark were free to enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors and seal the ceremony with a kiss.
After plenty of confetti it was time for champagne in the shade. We enjoyed some portraits in the tree-lined avenue making use of the stunning gardens at Saltmarshe Hall before moving onto the meal and speeches outdoors under the canopy in the courtyard.
As night fell, the plan was to descend into a relaxed atmosphere of champagne and conversation with a bit of background acoustic music. What transpired was all the guests actually dancing and singing at the top of their lungs in the library. What a way to end the night!
