Picking a photographer for your wedding seems like such a daunting task but we couldn't be happier with choosing James. We wanted natural photos which captured real moments during our day and he managed to do that beautifully. James was a pleasure to have at our wedding and made everyone feel so comfortable, he just blended in as one of our guests. We were really impressed with the turnaround time for processing the photos - he sent us a few sneak peaks the next day and a mini montage the following week and we had the full album in under a month! Our only problem now is choosing which photos to print as we love them all!!

James did an incredible job capturing the details of our big day. The photos that are so natural, creative and special to us; theyre something that we will treasure forever. Thanks so much James, for capturing our day and making the whole photo session so easy and natural.

James took photos of me and my partner, he was very professional and made us both feel relaxed and at ease. We greatly enjoyed the photoshoot, and absolutely adore the photos he took! We met James at a wedding fair, and we loved his relax style of Photography we thought it would work with us as a couple. Neither of us like having our photo, or have many photos, or many photos together so we also decided to have an engagement shoot.
We are so glad we did this fro 2 reasons, 1 not be as awkward on the day, and 2 we got to get to know James ahead of time an vice versa.

On the day it was like we were with someone we had know for ages, we felt relaxed, and weirdly we hardly noticed him other than the times were were chatting and having a great time like we were taking phots with a friend.

Neither me or my husband like having photos taken, I have low confidence but I was really at ease and didn't feel silly which elevated the day for me. My Husband he is just a little awkward (although I think he is stunning) but again he was so comfortable with the experience and we put that down to James's skills as a photographer.

We've had a sneak peak of the phots and we cant wait to see them all.

James was an amazing photographer for our wedding, we felt totally relaxed and this lead to the photos being absolutely beautiful! We chose James as our wedding photographer for our winter wedding in December and we're so glad we did!

James met with us on Zoom and helped to run through a plan for the day and answered many questions.

Working with him on the day was great, he was friendly, helpful and creative. James helped to arrange flowers, fix ties and even put on my veil!

We were looking for photos that were fun, vibrant, and yet captured the beauty of our day. James definitely delivered on all of these. Working with him never felt forced or awkward, and it really added to our day.

From the day after we had a couple of photos from James, and then a few days later a mini preview. The ones we've received so far (only a couple of weeks ago) look fantastic and we can't wait to see more.

James was exactly the person I wanted to capture mine and my partner Lou's special moment when I asked her to marry me in York over Easter weekend. He was communicative when needed, not pushy with extras, he was clear, punctual and got involved just the right amount. Not to mention the pictures being beautiful. We couldn't be happier!

We used James at Mine & Thine for our wedding in May 2025 and we are so very very happy with the results! The photos are simply beautiful, and they really captured the happiness and joy of the day. He was really easy to work with, made us feel very comfortable, and did loads of really nice candid shots of us and our guests. We had a videographer there too and they two of them worked really well together. We also did a pre-wedding photoshoot because we were a bit nervous about having our pictures taken and I'd highly recommend it. Thank you so much James :)
