I've been shooting weddings for over 14 years and have been there for over 400 couples tying the knot. From enormous 3-day festival weddings to intimate elopement weddings with just two guests I've created memories for all types of weddings.

I'm based in Leeds and York and I love the diversity of Yorkshire weddings, from Leeds City Centre weddings to rural barn wedding venues in North Yorkshire. I also love to shoot micro-weddings at York Register Office.

James is an absolutely wonderful photographer who recently captured our wedding day.

I searched high and low for a wedding photographer as our wedding was really low-key & intimate - we didn't need an all-day photographer. I also am not a fan of 'cheesy' wedding photos, I wanted pictures which 'naturally' captured the day, something I noticed is evident throughout James' work.

James offers a special package for smaller weddings which is a great price for a couple of hours - this was exactly what we needed to capture our ceremony and get some lovely pictures around York.

The photos turned out wonderful and we received them just a couple of weeks after the wedding, which is an amazing turnaround time.

Thank you SO much for capturing our day so beautifully, I will forever cherish these pictures.

We hired James as our wedding photographer in Leeds and he was brilliant! He captured all the very special moments from our day. It has been great to go through the photos and relive everything  all over again! He also put together a 2 minute slideshow which I have loved sharing with friends and family. my now husband found this chap, and wow, am i happy that he did! James was brilliant start to finish. it rained, not his fault obviously, but it did make for some cracking shots!
contact running up to the wedding was good, let me know what time he would be at the registry office so in good time for getting all the important photos. He put me at ease which is a big thing as i can be a bit funny about having my photo taken but as he managed to get a fair few candid shots, it meant that we have a proper representation of how everything went, plus it meant less posing and i really appreciate that.
100% book this guy, seriously, you will not be disappointed!

We had a micro-wedding at York Registry   Office and James was our photographer. I really dislike having my photo taken, but James made the process easy and relaxed from start to finish. James was our wedding photographer for a small registry office ceremony back in September. I really cannot recommend Mine & Thine enough.

A wonderful experience from start to finish and although we only had a few hours with James, he really took care to get the most amazing pictures and was fun and friendly throughout.

The pictures were sent to us in a timely manner, and they were fantastic. So lovely that all those special moments were captured perfectly, even the ones you don't think about. We booked James for our wedding at Leeds Civic Hall.  He was extremely kind and well communicative through the whole process.  He did such a beautiful job capturing every moment on day without imposing, and made everyone feel comfortable despite the guest count being quite small.
