We love weddings in the Lake District. What's not to love about the hills, the lakes, the gorgeous scenery!? James and Maria got married at Belmount Hall, a stones throw from Lake Windermere in Ambleside. We caught up with James at The Drunken Duck Inn, complete with ducks whilst Maria got ready at Belmount Hall. We brought our Rolleiflex along with us too as James and Maria had requested a coverage of the day on high quality medium format film and we were obviously only too happy to oblige (for those interested, the medium format film shots are all the square ones!). The held their lovely ceremony in the hall before heading outside into the marquee for some fantastic speeches. We took them for a spin around the grounds for their portraits too, even popping a Polaroid shot or two! They then partied hard into the night with some serious shapes being thrown!
