When Tom & Katie told us about their plans for their wedding when we met them for their engagement shoot on Ilkley Moor, it was like music to our ears. Their plans were all about a relaxed, fun day with garden games, ice cream trucks and spacehoppers and it just fit perfectly with our style! They got married in Ripley, somewhere close to James' heart as he spent a lot of his childhood in this little village in the castle grounds and eating lemon curd! The ceremony was held at All Saints, Ripley, with a moving sermon by Katie's mother. They then headed a few miles down the road to Katie's parents farm where they'd erected an enormous garden marquee in the grounds. There was a coconut shy, bat the rat and lawn games to give it that true village fête vibe. After an afternoon tea of sandwiches and cakes, and after the heavens had stopped pouring down, everyone enjoyed Tom & Katie's relaxed wedding on the lawns, eating ice cream playing croquet and having an amazing time.
