Looking ahead to a year of what will hopefully be glorious summer weddings we thought we'd reminisce with Katy & Mike's wedding at The Priory Cottages in Syningthwaite last August.
We love shooting at The Priory, it's a fantastic Yorkshire wedding venue and with the added bonus of the wedding party being able to get ready in the cottages on the courtyard. That's where we caught up with Katy and Mike in the morning before heading off to St Aelred's Catholic Church in Harrogate for a touching ceremony with plenty of Irish music and songs. Returning on vintage buses we had the biggest confetti bomb of the year. Check it out! We love a great confetti shot and Katy & Mike's family and friends didn't fail to disappoint! We enjoyed some portraits around the ever expansive grounds and fields of The Priory before making out way into the marquee for speeches and pork pie cake cutting! We even sneaked a 5 minute portrait session in during the break in the speeches for some lovely golden hour photos.
All day long there'd been a jackpot sweepstake running with the winner being drawn before the dancefloor opened up - the winner was extremely happy about her winnings! The dancefloor was filled to the sounds of an amazing soul band who kept the party pumping into the night. Enjoy!
If you're getting married at The Priory Cottages why not drop us a line?
