The mantra for Louise & Tom's wedding at Harewood House was Collect moments, not things, and we fell in love with that idea right away. Being wedding photographers we're always collecting moments, making sure we capture all the little things as well as the big things. Louise and Tom's day was full of perfect moments, and today we're sharing some of our favourites with you all.
Every wedding we've ever shot at Harewood House has been absolutely perfect. With it's amazing house, a lake at your disposal with plenty of hideaways for portraits and oh, those views! Add to that a whole flock of Red Kites synonymous with Harewood House now circling above you. Louise specifically asked for portraits with woodland, and we think we nailed it with the photo above. We absolutely love that photo, and in fact, some of our favourite photos of the year so far came out of Louise and Tom's wedding! We enjoyed some gorgeous photos on a secluded little bridge by the lake where everything came together, everyone was relaxed and we just had some fun making memories.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves, let's rewind a little!
We met up with Louise at her parent's house. A cool, calm and relaxed morning with some awesome bridesmaids (we're not just saying that because one bridesmaid is a bride of ours for next year!). And check out those bridesmaid's dresses! Tom and the boys were looking equally amazing in tweed waistcoats and Yorkshire flat caps.
They got married in the courtyard at Harewood House before drinks on the terrace, dodging the rain spots and then heading down to the lake for those awesome portrait photos. Followed by some supremely good speeches they hit the dancefloor to round it all off with an amazing night.
