We're drawing in on the end of 2015 and it's been another exciting year for us...
In 2014 we focused on being more local and we kept it that way throughout 2015. We made a conscious decision two years ago to make sure we were delivering our all at every wedding and to do that we decided time and attention was the key. Keeping to the north and staying rooted in Yorkshire means we've been able to devote more of ourselves to every couple and we've been thrilled with how our coverage and quality has developed and the feedback on our Google reviews certainly says the same! Our photographs have also come to celebrate the Northern landscape and we love how that's become part of our defining style.
We saw lots more people taking up our analogue film packages for those who want something really special and unique for their wedding portraits. They've been a real joy to do and we're hoping to grow our wedding photography on film over 2016. You can see more of our film work in the Film Portfolio or find out about why we shoot film here.
On a more personal note, we joined our couples in the wedding journey. As of Boxing Day we're now engaged and planning our own wedding! James proposed whilst we were both in our pyjamas and he ended up crying more than Lianne! We also managed to make a roadtrip we'd been planning for a long while all around Saxony which was a really amazing few weeks. If you'd like to see more of that, just click here.
And lastly, our favourite trend of the year: Dogs at weddings! (We really had to stop ourselves from just making this a blog post about dogs!)
