We kicked off Rael and Sara's wedding at Taitlands in Settle with an extremely relaxed morning, the type where the bride and groom get ready together which always makes for a nice relaxed atmosphere where everyone's gearing up for a party more than a wedding. Meanwhile, family and friends prepared the walled garden for the outdoor ceremony set in the rolling Yorkshire Dales and stunning backdrop of Settle. Ordinarily, we wouldn't mention something so trivial but just as everyone was making final touches the flowergirl bumped her knee, so - adorably - Sara showed her solidarity with matching Disney plasters which stayed there all day! We've never seen a couple embrace fun quite as much as these two did. They threw caution to the wind and hammed it up all day... we suspect that's just what they're like anyway but we love them for it! The afternoon was filled with lawn games and fun group family photos before we took Rael and Sara on a lap around the beautiful scenic grounds for some portraits together. As the day moved on, all we have to say about the speeches was that they ended in Rael playing the William Tell Overture solely using his face as an instrument... and it was good... soooo, yeah! As the sun set there was time for a quick round of golden hour portraits and a mini lawn-game tournament between Rael and Sara. With them both being very very talented musicians, the choice of music and evening entertainment was always going to be a difficult choice. The huge majority of the guests were also in successful bands, music producers or just super talented in their own rights so Rael and Sara went with the only logical choice for their evening band - Princes in the Tower - who are here to 'make you party like it's 1555'! Needless to say, their crumhorn talents went down well!
