Carol and Mark planned a fantastic Leeds city centre wedding with their ceremony in one of our top locations, Leeds Civic Hall. It's such a hidden gem of a venue to get married in in Leeds. With that elusive quality of understated grandeur for a city centre civil ceremony location, it has gorgeous light to boot. It's hard to take a bad photo here and we absolutely adore it! Topped off with their wedding at Crafthouse Leeds, another secret wedding venue that offers so much awesomeness, this was a real treat of a wedding! We met up with Carol at home who was having a very quiet morning with her sister whilst Mark collected his mum for a pint in their local before taking a vintage bus into the city. Carol and her sister walked down the aisle together which was a lovely touch before Carol and Mark tied the knot. Confetti and a few photos on the steps of the civic hall, the guests boarded the bus to head to the wedding reception at Crafthouse in Trinity Leeds. As their guests journeyed through the city, we walked through with Carol and Mark taking in a few key stops including making use of the seating stalls erected in Millennium square to watch the tennis... we just couldn't resist the colour! We actually ended up beating the guests on the bus despite our 15 minute walk getting some urban wedding portraits! With drinks on the terrace overlooking the Leeds skyline, their relaxed wedding reception continued with exceptional quality food and was followed by a roaming acoustic band. Singing and playing to ad hoc requests, their repertoire was incredible for such an off-the-cuff style of entertainment and they really kept the entertainment flowing. Carol and Mark rounded off the formalities with a short toast and the cutting of the cake before enjoying more music, drinks and conversation. It was a wonderfully relaxed affair that was exceptionally well suited to Crafthouse Leeds.
