Dan and Chris' matching blue suits is just the tip of the iceberg on how fantastic their Merchant Adventurers Hall wedding was in York! Getting ready together in the city centre, they popped the champagne with their best man and best woman before taking a meandering stroll around a few city highlights for photos ahead of their ceremony. Taking in the views along the wall, sneaking into little nooks for textures and gorgeous light we were doing great until repeated photobombs from their guests who were making their way to the Hall! They took it all in good fun and we had a laugh walking through the streets on the way to get wed!
Guests filed into this stunning building before, fighting back the tears, Dan and Chris came down the aisle. The love in the room was palpable and we'd be lying if we didn't get a little misty eyed ourselves! The happy tears kept on coming as they were announced as officially married and they welcomed their guests out in the gardens for drinks and canapes. Dodging the odd rain drop in between glorious sunshine the afternoon was spent chatting and enjoying one anothers company. As the afternoon rolled into dinner time, we made a few minutes for those last few photos of our newlyweds, making sure to capture all those details of their bespoke suits too!
We weren't done with the happy tears because when speeches began there were tissues flying everywhere with the heartfelt words Dan and Chris spoke about each other. Phew... I think we're all cried out now. Party time!!
Dan and Chris had vaguely mentioned to us their plans for their first dance but nothing could prepare us for the Eurovision meets The Lambada with maracas and limbs everywhere. It was A-MAZING, setting the bar high for a first dance more incredible than theres! The fun carried on into all their guests getting involved in the Ceilidh and carrying on into the night.
If you're planning a Merchant Adventurers Hall wedding, drop us a line, we'd love to be involved!
