Castle Farm, Knaresborough

Castle Farm is a gorgeous setting for a rustic farm wedding. Offering two barns, a brick one for your ceremony and a steel roofed, slat-sided one for big wedding receptions it has a lot to offer. This couldn't be further from a hotel wedding, with nasty carpets! This is beautiful dappled light, charming scenery with wonderful texture. Located just outside Knaresborough it also offers a break out hay barn for your drinks reception with open sides to really put your feet up and enjoy your day. Castle Farm only take on a small number of wedding per year so get in there quick!

Poppleton Tithe Barn, York

Poppleton Tithe barn is an oak beamed slice of rustic loveliness. With big barn doors, festoon lights, and plenty of green space on the doorstep it hugs the River Ouse and offers all the laid back vibes you're probably looking for. It's an absolute blank canvas for you to decorate and bring in your caterers. If you're looking for a space for acoustic music, perhaps a ceilidh in the evening, this is the barn for you. With only 12 weddings held here per year though, you'll need to get your names down early!

The Barns, East Yorkshire

One of our absolute favourites! The Barns East Yorkshire has all the rustic tin shed style but with hints of carefully considered styling by owner Kate to give you a head-start on personalising this enormous space. A brick barn for your ceremony with double height ceilings followed by the tin-roofed, wood clad barn for the reception it has a lot to offer. A break-out space under a veranda brings the outside in with leather couches and pallet furniture footstools to really enjoy the space whatever the weather. There's plenty of green space to make the most of too, meaning that there is almost no limit to what you can do on your wedding day at The Barns.

Blossom Barn, Holmfirth

Blossom barn is a cosier venue for medium weddings lending itself to informal trestle table seating arrangements and informality. With inquisitive cows just yards away and amazing landscapes and views for big backdrop wedding portraits, it's a real stunner of a barn wedding venue. The slate floor and stone walls stand up to any of Yorkshire's worst weather. A blank canvas for you, you can really put a stamp on the place to realise your dreams.

Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn

The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey stormed onto the scene when it opened in August 2018. We shot the fourth wedding they'd ever held and they've gone from strength to strength and has become one of the 'must-have' barn wedding venues in Yorkshire offering a slice of luxury. There's no other wedding barn quite like this. It's huge, stunning and lined with thousands of festoon lights and candelabras. If you're looking for a barn wedding for 100 guests or more, you won't go wrong here.

The Normans, Near York

The Normans near York is a wonderful courtyard surrounded by barns and outbuildings that bring a contemporary touch to rustic charm. From the stonework barn with it's huge fairy light backdrop to the breakout cattle shed that's more homely than it sounds. The main reception is held in the largest marquee lined barn whilst the courtyard offers plenty of space to mingle in the summer. Further open-ended sheds and barns in the farm all make for great wedding portraits too.

Priory Barn & Cottages, Near Wetherby

We call The Priory our home away from home. It has absolutely everything you need for a self-contained wedding day from individual cottages to stay over in, a barn for your ceremony and a large capacity marquee to host your reception. The one thing we love best about The Priory is the staff. They are without a doubt the best in the industry that we've ever met. From your planning stage to on-the-day co-ordination, it doesn't get better than here. What's more, is there is an ever changing landscape that offers so much throughout the seasons. If you want working farm looks to your photos, there's plenty to work with here. If you'd prefer portraits in open stretches of golden wheat or delicate blue potato flowers or vibrant rapeseed, there's all this and more!

Yorkshire Wedding Barn, Near Richmond

This is a modernised barn that brings with it all the luxuries of on-site accommodation, bright and airy decor and manicured landscapes. The real sweetener for Yorkshire Wedding Barn is that you can hold a legal outdoor ceremony in their purpose built gazebo. Wharfedale Grange, Harewood

Lastly, we come to the most luxurious venue on our list. Yes, it's still a barn - in fact there are two here - but it's been fully modernised with oodles of wood, chandeliers and twinkling lights aplenty. You'll have an on site room for bridal preparations, an extensive bar, plenty of room for all your guests including a large dance floor.
