Beckie & Matthew's wedding shortly before Christmas was at the fantastic Monk Fryston Hall. Complete with plenty of festive Christmas decorations, they got ready nearby before their wedding ceremony at St Wilfrid's at Monk Fryston. Arriving by camper van, they set the scene for a nice relaxed wedding day. Exiting to clouds of confetti and all their family and friends, Beckie & Matthew boarded the camper van for a quick spin around the blog as their guests made their way across the road to Monk Fryston Hall.
Beckie & Matthew specifically requested unposed, non cheesy photos and despite the wintery weather, they got outside and made the most of the low winter sun and had fun. Beckie is a massive Harry Potter fan and had actually booked Monk Fryston Hall because it had that Harry Potter-esque vibe! We had to make the most of the amazing wooden walkway in the woods to fulfill that Harry Potterness!
After some fun speeches, it was outside for sparklers and gearing up for dancing. Clearly, the evening was the bit they were always looking forward to the most as the guests were already on the dance floor before the first dance had even started. We think the order was dancing, cake cut, father-daughter dance, first dance and then a special dance for Beckie's mum and dad who never got to have a first dance at their own wedding. That gave us all the feels! We had a great night with them and an amazing day too.
