Jack & Aggie's Victoria Hall Wedding Saltaire on a lovely sunny day with all their friends and family - it just can't be beaten! We met up with Aggie at Hollins Hall Hotel whilst she got ready with her bridesmaids. The bridesmaids all wore red in a nod to Aggie's mum who wore a red dress to her own wedding. Meanwhile, Jack met her his guests at Victoria Hall in Saltaire as they arrived by vintage bus.
The ceremony was held upstairs in the gorgeous, light and bright York Room. We love the versatility of a Victoria Hall wedding, there's no awkward room turnarounds, just lots of space and freedom to keep the day moving smoothly. After the I-do's, it was outside into the sunshine to a shower of confetti and drinks on the lawn. With 180 guests we kept the group photos quick and informal so as to make sure it didn't take up any more time than necessary so everyone could back to mingling and chatting. Likewise, we kept Jack & Aggie's portraits short and sweet, having a laugh and a giggle in the streets of Saltaire. It's amazing what the two of us can achieve in 10 minutes of portrait time, keeping it nice and relaxed but getting all that we need.
Jack & Aggie welcomed their guests in to the meal and speeches in the main hall, and the speeches weren't just your typical boys' club. Aggie's sister kicked off the speeches and was followed by Aggie, and her mum along with the father of the bride, father of the groom, Jack and the best men. Yes to making speeches equal!
The gorgeous afternoon rolled into a beautiful evening before the biggest ceilidh we'd ever seen. The dancefloor was huge and always packed with at least a hundred people. They set the bar high!
