Before you dive into their wedding at East Keswick Village Hall, if you didn't catch either Frances & James' engagement shoot or their legal ceremony, go take a quick gander and we'll be right here when you get back!
The morning kicked off with all hands on deck to finish getting the village hall ready. Being the uber-creatives that they are, they made their own welcome signs, and well, basically everything. If you see it in the pictures, it's safe to assume they made it themselves. They're just so ridiculously crazy-talented these two and they're absolutely made for each other. Anyway, back to the morning! Guests gathered as the finish touches were applied. We chauffeured Frances to the ceremony (hey, we're going there anyway, why pay for a taxi!?) and then after having just finished all the flower arrangements, Frances' mum walked her down the aisle to James. They had an amazing outdoor ceremony under their own bamboo 'The Murphys' arch! I mean, how crazy awesome is that!?
Confetti and applause back down the aisle and it was time to unveil their new family flag. Comprising previous heritage symbols and the constellations above their ceremony, it's another testament to their creativity. Amongst all the drinks and fun, we stole away for a few minutes to make the most of the gorgeous weather. Snaking through the quiet streets, they took us to a place we've never ever spotted before when we've been shooting a wedding at East Keswick Village Hall. Tucked away between the houses, an entrance to a stunning meadow that was just the perfect spot for these two to take a breather and make some magic portraits. We can't thank them enough for taking us here - it was A-MAZING!
Picnics and speeches ensued before relaxing into pub quizzes and lounging in the sun. Shout outs to three (yes three!) of our previous couples who were all bridesmaids: Emily & Jim, Louise & Tom, and Amy & Matt. The creativity from this crowd knows no bounds and we've loved being involved in all your weddings.
