Camila & Andy's Chilean-Canadian-Yorkshire wedding last week was a beautiful blend of family from all over the world in the most stunning location when they brought me along to be their Grand Lodge at Oaklands wedding photographer.
They got ready in the wonderful lodges before getting married on the jetty over the lake. I've shot at probably a hundred different wedding venues over the years and this was an absolutely unique spot for a ceremony and I loved it!
The afternoon was spent celebrating and mingling amongst family and friends with plenty of group photos mixed in as the kids played on the bouncy castle (can't recommend enough, even just for photos!). Speeches were a relaxed affair on the terrace before a family feast.
As the sun mellowed into golden hues we captured some portraits in the stunning grounds. We ended up with a wonderful mix of tender moments, dramatic shots, combined with hilarious outtakes - the perfect blend!
They kicked the night off with a first dance out in the forest as the sun set. Such a unique option I've not seen anywhere else and I absolutely loved it!
