The romance is strong with this one. Chris is a poet and he and Claire walked down the aisle to a song he wrote and composed just for the occasion. Talk about setting the bar high! They got married at The Faversham, Leeds, a relaxed city centre venue with a lovely conservatory with a blend of chilled out vibes but good atmosphere. After some super-informal group photos (just the way we like them) Chris and Claire dipped across the road for a few quiet moments together for photos in the Leeds University grounds, a great space for urban portraits. They returned to their wedding breakfast decorated with dried flowers and grasses with a lovely muted colour palette. The beauty of The Faversham is just how flexible it is, we don't think we've ever had the same format twice no matter how many weddings we've shot there. After the wedding breakfast, everyone came into the bar area for speeches with sofas dotted around for a much less informal approach to formalities! The evening commenced with a beer pong tournament where rules were hotly debated throughout. We need more beer pong at weddings, it was a lot of fun to photograph! The romance continued into the night as Chris and Claire's musician friends played them into their first dance. What a perfectly relaxed wedding day!
