As an Art History PhD student, I have a massive love for art. So, when Genny & Ben asked me to be their Hepworth Gallery wedding photographer it was like music to my ears! The Hepworth in Wakefield is a stunning building filled with a fantastic collection of Barbara Hepworth sculptures making for the perfect backdrop for a wedding in Wakefield.

Their ceremony took place in the main gallery before drinks surrounded by beautiful art. We ventured outside to take in some of the stunning architecture just as the sun was setting, followed by speeches and dancing into the night.

Genny & Ben were looking for a very relaxed, informal approach to their wedding photography and that's exactly what I like to do. No one wants to feel stiff or posed in their wedding photos, and I want my couples to look and feel like themselves. Genny & Ben took a nice and easy stroll around the building which made for simple, easy, and elegant wedding photos.
