This is one of our absolute favourite venues, that's why we love being a recommended Inn at Whitewell wedding photographer! Laura & Luke were absolutely salt of the earth kinda people when we met them on Ilkley Moor for their engagement shoot and we were so excited about shooting their wedding at Inn at Whitewell.
Laura got ready with her bridesmaids at The Piggeries at The Inn at Whitewell whilst Luke enjoyed a lunchtime pint in nearby Waddington before a short stroll up the lane for their church ceremony. Laura arrived by vintage car and came in through the dramatic West door for one amazing entrance!
Through a shower of confetti it was back to The Inn at Whitewell for drinks, canapes and photos. Luke had his heart set on a whole group photo of everyone on the stepping stones over the River Hodder so we donned our wellies and waded in, happy to oblige! We have to give our ultimate respect to the groomsmen who managed (somehow!) to get their fellow groomsman and his wheelchair out into the middle of the stepping stones. It was totally worth it!
With meal and speeches concluded, it was time for a few photos of Laura & Luke out in the golden light in the Forest of Bowland. We find some of the most gorgeous light out here and it's always a pleasure when the sunset delivers it's golden rays for a portrait session. Laura and Luke brought their giggles and happiness and we're over the moon with how relaxed and fun their wedding portraits are.
The night was rounded off with dancing and good times and it was our honour to be a part of capturing their fantastic day.
