The Lake District, now a truly deserved World Heritage site for it's stunning natural beauty. What better place to get married than right here, in the heart of Windermere at Linthwaite House Hotel. Danny & Jaoui came from their home in China to celebrate the UK leg of their wedding on a gorgeous sunny day. Keeping things informal and relaxed, their wedding consisted of speeches on the terrace, croquet on the lawn and no formal first dance, just a good old knees-up! We loved their relaxed approach to their wedding plans and it fit in perfectly with the way we love to work. The hints of Chinese decoration pulled East into West (and we can only assume some bunting was going up at the Chinese leg of the wedding as a nod to the British!). Danny even delivered a good chunk of his speech in Chinese which was met with a round of applause. We of course took advantage of the amazing Cumbrian scenery for their portraits, having a stroll up the hill into the woods for one of the most spectacular views over Lake Windermere.
