There's nothing quite as special as a wedding in the Yorkshire Dales. Let us introduce you to Taitlands near Settle, a gorgeous wedding venue that first and foremost is a home and with that comes the attention to detail and a homely relaxed feeling to any wedding. They host limited weddings per year so it's somewhat an exclusive place to have your wedding and quite rightly so, by not cramming in the weddings each year, every day receives special care and attention. So, let us introduce you to Mike and Lucy. They're beautiful people who were great to be around all day. Every step of the way throughout their wedding was tears, laughter and an amazingly good time. And we love a groom who sheds a tear, because how could you not seeing Lucy in her beautiful art deco beaded wedding dress!? We had the big backdrops of the Yorkshire Dales surrounding us and glorious sunshine for some fantastic portraits in the meadow and with some amazing scenery. We would work here every weekend if we could! The whole day was just so much fun too, from the barbecue to the pizza by Pizza Fella in the evening. From the cringe worthy speeches to the bridemaids flexing their muscles carrying Mike around (this wasn't our idea but we love it all the same!). Add to that the Taitlands dachshund making regular appearances throughout the day (we love a dog at a wedding!) and a bridesmaid playing the trumpet with the band, everything was just a joy to capture. And lastly, Mike and Lucy opted for a set of Polaroid wedding portraits which oozed analogue film-y goodness! So happy with them! Enjoy!
