This is the first time we've ever got excited about table cloths. It's hard to get excited about table cloths but my word did The Priory Cottages look stunning at Gavin & Charlotte's wedding. The room was dressed in subtle gold tones with splashes of rich purples and gone were your standard white tablecloths and in were luscious velvety golden table cloths... They were some seriously nice tablecloths!

Tablecloths aside, Gavin and Charlotte did a great job of avoiding each other all morning at the cottages at The Priory. Each with their own place across the courtyard they eagerly got ready, Gavin following a round of football. They then headed to the simply stunning Ripon Cathedral in North Yorkshire to get married. We've never been here even with it only being an hour north of Leeds but we can't imagine a grander setting to get married. After a lovely ceremony we paused for a quick round of portraits alone in the cathedral before making our way back to The Priory near Wetherby to party. With exquisite food by Taste Cuisine (who never cease to be anything but perfect every time we cross paths) and some laugh-out-loud speeches we enjoyed some golden-hour portraits before cutting that gorgeous cake by Poppy Pickering. And as always, the day culminated in us joining the happy couple in throwing some shapes on the dancefloor.
