Ross and Alex are both in the armed forces and their wedding at Yorebridge House was a wash of ceremonial uniforms and colours. And with all the regimental regalia came some awesome moments throughout the day that made Ross & Alex's day extra special.
Alex got ready in the barn at Yorebridge House whilst Ross collected his vintage Morgan and enjoyed a leisurely drive through the Yorkshire dales. Obviously, everyone wanted to get photos along the way so we were only too happy to oblige. They finally met again at the end of the aisle at St Andrews Church in Aysgarth. After the captains had given their readings and the rings exchanged Ross and Alex made the most memorable exit to date...guard of honour, a quick snog and a confetti dash to whisk themselves away in the Morgan. Pure romance!
We took the long route back to Yorebridge House to make a few pit stops at some picturesque locations. The mist was being stubborn and had well and truly settled in the valleys but still didn't spoil the romance of it all!
Back to the party at Yorebridge House, Ross and Alex were piped in by the bagpiper for drinks and canapes on the lawn with the sound of piano in the now warm early summer air. After speeches we made a few extra minutes for some photos in amongst the buttercup field in the low sunlight and they look absolutely gorgeous. And after the obligatory cutting of the cake by sword, the dancefloor was packed and Alex even took to some crowd surfing! All in all, one of the most amazing weddings ever!
