You don't need us to tell you how crazy 2020 has been. Weddings looked very different this year, masks, distancing, 6 guests, 15 guests, 30 guests, back to 15 guests, rules rules rules. This year certainly kept us on our toes and we adapted everything to make it work, from the way we shoot, to what shoot and everything else in between. But despite all it's difficulties, 2020 was quite a massive milestone for us at James & Lianne Wedding Photography. We've been Leeds wedding photographers and all shooting all across Yorkshire and beyond since 2010 and August saw us celebrating 10 years of business!

Here's some of our 10 year stats:

Weddings attended: 267 Photos taken: 1,000,000+ Photos delivered: 130,000+ Countries photographed in: 3 Counties photographed in: 14 Sweetie tables raided: hundreds

As it would have been a bit light on content if we did our annual 'best of' for 2020, we put together some of our favourite moments from those 10 years, right from our very first wedding ever at East Keswick Village Hall near Leeds. Looking back we're quite proud that we've always been consistent in our style and approach. We've always wanted to inject the fun and laughter into our wedding photography in creative and meaningful ways. We've never posed people, we've always made memories where our couples look like them, not like mannequins. We've always made colourful wedding photos, and that's always been important to us and capturing our native Yorkshire in all it's finery has always been central to our whole vibe. It's been a privilege to photograph every single wedding over the past 10 years and we look forward to many more in the future and a return to normality in 2021 so we can party the night away with you all. J&L x
