Natalie and Chris are a lovely pair or theologians from Knaresborough. They live in such a picturesque town it made sense to do their engagement shoot right on their doorstep taking in the scenery of Knaresborough in a lovely sunny day. They confessed to having an absolute fascination with shrines so we made a special trip to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Crag, a tiny (and I mean tiny) shrine carved into the rockface reportedly over 600 years old, carved by a local master mason on the occasion of his son who was almost killed by a falling rock. With it's hand carved vaulted ceilings and altar, it made for a beautiful setting for a few more portraits. We can't wait for the big day next month!
