Welcome to Sam and Sam's wedding (yes, they're both called Sam...!) at the Sun Pavilion in Harrogate right in the heart of the beautiful market town and nestled in the stunning Valley Gardens, it's an amazing spot to get married. What's more, it's one of the few places in Yorkshire we know of that offers legal outdoor weddings. After getting ready in a nearby hotel, Sam and the boys walked through Valley Gardens to the Sun Pavilion followed shortly after by Sam and the girls. Sam(antha) had joked about how she was a crier and we said it was fine so long as she could do it in single, elegant tears. It turns out she had was full of single elegant tears and with all the emotion of the day she had buckets of them (almost literally!).   After the outdoor ceremony on the terrace, we enjoyed a stroll around the Valley Gardens for their wedding photos, it's an amazing setting for photos and it changes so much throughout the year that it's always a joy to work in. Following speeches and an afternoon tea, a summer storm rained down heavy and everyone sat on the terrace to enjoy the thunder and lightning - with the kids opting to go splash in the rain! - a great example of what to do if it rains on your wedding day... enjoy it!
