The 90 minute package covers your arrival at the office, the ceremony itself, family and group photos and then there’s plenty of time to get a few photos of you both together. No fuss, just nice and easy.

Will you take group photos?
Absolutely. There’s plenty of time to take group photos and I always recommend that we do so.
Is 90 minutes long enough?
Very much so. I’m a very experienced York Register Office wedding photographer having photographed about a hundred York Register Office weddings and I’ve found that 90 minutes is the perfect amount of coverage.
What if we want you to stay longer?
No problem at all. If you have a drinks reception you’d like capturing nearby, or would like an extended portrait shoot around York, you can add on blocks of 30 minutes.
Where will we go for portraits?
The gardens at York Register Office are lovely but there’s also plenty of spots right on the doorstep including Museum Gardens for wedding photos. We can usually include 2 locations for your portraits, but if you want to extend your session, we can often take photos on the walls, down The Shambles or anywhere you’d like.
Do you offer the York Register Office wedding photography package on Fridays and Saturdays?
The package is available Monday to Thursday throughout the year. If your wedding is in the next 2-3 months, or in October to February, there may be availability for Fridays and Saturdays. Please get in touch to discuss.
Can you act as our witness?
If you’re eloping just the two of you, I would be honoured to act as a witness for you. There’s no extra charge for this. If you require a second witness, I can sometimes organise this for you – please just ask.
