I’ll guide you through this, don’t you worry! I like to take as much of the pressure off you as possible. With me, you don’t need to think about things, I’ll just make sure they happen.
General questions.
I am based in York and cover all of North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and East Yorkshire, including Leeds. But I do also shoot weddings further afield, across Manchester, Lancashire, Cumbria, the Lake District, and the North East. If you’re considering a wedding elsewhere, not in the North of England, get in touch.
I believe in doing one thing well and not dividing my attention across two very different disciplines. For videography I work with my very talented friend, Becki at All You Need is Love Photography.
Absolutely! Elopements are some of my favourite weddings to photograph – I love when a couple choose to focus on themselves and do away with all the ‘extra’ bits of a wedding. I offer bespoke pricing based on your plans.
Of course! Although I like them to be quick and out of the way so everyone can get back to enjoying the day (especially you!). So they’re not so much ‘formal’ but more ‘organised.’ In other words, I’m not going to make you spend ages getting them done. Most couples thank me for how quick they were.
Not a question, but still a valid point! I get the best photos out of couples who have at least one awkward person. Poses are great, but it’s the in between, candid out-takes that make for some of the most memorable moments of your day. I like these because they’re honest, not forced. You’ll like them too.
Pricing questions.
I keep my pricing transparent. My packages include everything you need. You’ll never be charged extra for un-watermarked photos. If additional travel is needed, I’ll provide an estimate of the costs. And any extras after your wedding, e.g. albums, are always available with clear pricing.
My most popular signature package is £2,250 and includes everything you need: a full day of photography with all your fully-edited images supplied in an online gallery ready for you to download.
Travel costs are included for pretty much all of North Yorkshire. I’ll let you know if there’s any additional fee if your plans are further afield.
I do indeed. Whether you’re eloping to somewhere rural and rugged, having a local micro-wedding in York, or planning a three-day long festival wedding, I can tailor a package to suit exactly what you want.
Mid-week, quite possibly. Off-season, generally no. But I’m open to working to your budget, so please don’t let that discourage you. Get in touch and we’ll discuss your plans and work out the best package for you.
Yes, a £500 initial payment is due at the time of booking to secure the date (or 50%, whichever is the lower). This comes off your total balance, with the remainder payable 28 days before your wedding date.
Admin questions.
You’ll have a handful of preview photos within 24-48 hours (usually less) to announce your big day with. The full set of images is delivered within 6-8 weeks but typically within 4 weeks. You’ll have teasers and treats delivered to you in the meantime!
I have both public liability and public indemnity insurance should anything happen (not that I’ve ever needed it!)
Lots! If something breaks, I’ve got a spine-bendingly heavy bag full of stuff to jump right in it’s place.
