Yorkshire Wedding Photography Pricing

I’ll be in the action but not in the way.

For full day weddings I typically start about 2 hours before your ceremony start time. If you opt for a second photographer, we’ll cover both sides of the morning preparations. I’ll be in the action but not in the way, unless you need to know which side dad’s buttonhole goes, or how to put in a veil, I’m your guy!

I’ll blend in with your guests and capture all the good times and joy throughout the day. When it comes to group photos and portraits I keep everything quick and easy so that you can get back to enjoying the party. I won’t dictate how your day goes and I won’t be dragging you off for hours for portraits. It’s your day and I want you to enjoy it.

I’ll stay until after your first dance and make sure I capture your friends throwing shapes and the moment your uncle ties his tie around his head. I only leave when I feel like I have everything I need and everything you’d want.

“James made us feel so at ease and stayed until he was confident he had every shot we could want. The photos came out looking effortlessly natural.

There’s no rush.

I genuinely believe that you should be allowed to enjoy your day the way you want to. That’s why there’s no set time limit in my Full Day wedding photography package. If you want to take an extra hour to enjoy the warm evening at dusk before hitting the dance floor, by all means, please do. I’d rather capture these moments than take them from you because I’m watching the clock.

Let your day breathe.

I won’t rush you. I want you to enjoy yourselves.

Whilst I’ll make sure you stay on track throughout the main beats of the day – the ceremony and the food – I definitely won’t be the type of photographer who comes up to you at 8pm demanding more money because dad’s speech overran and you’ve not done your first dance yet. These things happen, weddings don’t always run to schedule and that’s absolutely fine by me.

I’m there for as long as I need to be. I’m yours all day.
